Six numbers tell the full story of a League of Legends game: kills, deaths, assists, CS, gold, and your champion’s level. This overlay puts all six on screen in a clean stats panel so viewers always know where you stand in the match without you stopping to explain it.

It is free with Meld Studio. No watermark, no usage cap, and no monthly cost.

How the commands work

The streamer or a moderator updates the panel live using five commands, each built to be typed quickly without breaking concentration on the game.

!stats 8/2/4 sets the K/D/A display in one step. !cs 180 updates the minion count. !gold 12.4k accepts abbreviated notation alongside full numbers, so 5.4k and 5400 both register correctly. !lvl 14 moves the champion level readout to the right number. !champ Jinx swaps the active champion display by name, which is useful at the start of a new game or when switching picks between matches.

All five commands are locked to the streamer and moderators. Viewers watch the stats update in real time but cannot send commands that change what appears on screen. That restriction keeps the panel accurate even during an active, high-traffic chat.

When to use it

The overlay fits any League of Legends stream where in-game numbers matter to the audience. Between teamfights, at the end of a lane trade, or after a skirmish, one quick command keeps the panel current without interrupting commentary.

For streamers who prefer not to break their rhythm, handing moderator permissions to a trusted regular solves the problem entirely. The moderator handles all five stat commands throughout the session while the streamer stays focused on gameplay and calls.

The widget also works well on co-streams and multi-perspective broadcasts. One moderator tracks stats for the whole game while every viewer on Twitch, YouTube Live, Kick, and TikTok sees the same current numbers at the same time.

Adding it to your stream

Download Meld Studio and the stats panel is one drag into a scene. Connect your Twitch, YouTube Live, Kick, or TikTok Live accounts once, and the overlay renders identically on every platform you broadcast to, with the same five commands available from a single sign-in.

For streamers who already run OBS, the free Spark Plug for OBS plugin loads the stats overlay into your existing OBS scene as a browser source. All five commands work the same way inside OBS, with the same moderator permission rules keeping the panel accurate regardless of where you are broadcasting from.

Use cases

  • Keeping chat current during long laning phases

When you are deep into a laning phase and chat is asking how you are doing, a quick !stats command updates the panel without pulling your eyes off the map. Viewers see your K/D/A, CS, and gold at a glance and stay connected to how the game is progressing.

  • Moderator-managed tracking on competitive streams

Trusted moderators can run all five commands throughout the session so the streamer stays focused on commentary and plays. The stats panel stays accurate from lane phase through late game without the streamer needing to type a single command mid-fight.

Frequently asked questions

Is the League of Legends stats overlay free?

Yes. The overlay is included free with Meld Studio. There is no paywall, no watermark, and no per-stream usage cap. Download Meld Studio and the stats panel is one drag away from being live in a scene.

Which stats does the overlay display?

The panel shows six values: kills, deaths, and assists as a K/D/A readout, minions killed (CS), current gold (supports shorthand like 5.4k), and the champion currently being played. Each is updated independently with its own command.

Can viewers update the stats, or is it streamer-only?

Commands are restricted to the streamer and moderators only. Viewers can watch the panel update in real time, but they cannot send commands that change what is displayed. That keeps the stats accurate even in a large or fast-moving chat.

Which platforms does it work on?

The overlay works on Twitch, YouTube Live, Kick, and TikTok Live. Meld signs you in once and the stats panel renders the same way on every platform you stream to, so a multi-platform broadcast shows the same current stats across all four channels simultaneously.

Does this work with OBS Studio?

Yes. Spark Plug for OBS loads the stats overlay into your existing OBS scene as a browser source, and all five streamer and moderator commands work the same way inside OBS as they do in Meld Studio directly. No scene rebuild required.
