Changelog

Scene Templates make it faster than ever to get a great-looking stream going, macOS users finally get per-app audio capture, and Spark now reads your actual settings to answer setup questions. Here's everything that's new in this Meld release.

Meld Studio now includes native NVIDIA RTX background blur and background removal for camera layers. It works on Windows with any RTX 2000-series GPU or newer, requires no green screen or plugins, and lets streamers place alerts, chat, gameplay, or custom backdrops directly behind their camera.

The latest Spark update lets you steer Spark mid-build, so you can change course without starting over. Responses are faster, Pro and Max get a more capable Spark, bigger builds finish in one go, and a long list of fixes makes long sessions and live overlays more reliable.

Meld Studio now supports AV1 and H.265 (HEVC) recording, giving creators better quality at a fraction of the file size compared to H.264. Here's how to turn it on, which hardware supports it, and why it matters for your storage.

Two new Meld Studio features make streaming smarter and safer: Speech to Text reacts to what you say in real time, and the Go Live Review window helps you catch mistakes before you go live.

Screen Draw lets you annotate your canvas live in Meld Studio or OBS. Highlighter, drawing tools, and stamps for arrows, circles, squares, and X marks. No plugin install required.

Meld Studio just added Blend Modes, giving you the same layer compositing tools found in Photoshop and After Effects, but live and in real time. No plugins, no rendering, just a dropdown that makes your stream look ten times more polished.

Big things just landed in Meld Studio, and this one's for our Mac creators who've been waiting (and asking, and asking again): Virtual Camera is officially here for MacOS. Pair that with brand-new Global Hotkeys, and this release is all about giving you faster, more flexible

Give your stream a cinematic edge with one effect. Meld Studio now supports LUTs for professional color grading, and a new LUT lab to create your own custom looks.
