We’ve got another great update for you! This release brings much-anticipated new ways to organize your audio tracks. We’re also shipping several performance improvements and bug fixes.
WHAT’S NEW ✨
A new vision for the Audio Mixer 😎
We’ve added the ability to disable and hide audio tracks, as well as make them global, allowing them to be heard across all scenes. This provides better control over audio tracks associated with Display Capture, Media, and Browser sources and allows you to eliminate unused audio tracks.
This allows you to configure audio tracks for Discord, Music, and Game audio captured with Display capture sources and Alerts in a Browser source to be heard globally, on every scene. Unwanted audio tracks can be quickly disabled and removed from the audio track list.
NVENC support is graduating! 🎓
NVENC support has graduated from the experimental phase and is now the default for hardware encoder on machines with a modern NVIDIA card. Our testing has shown it to yield the best quality while minimizing CPU usage.
Multiple Layers Select
You can now shift-select a range of layers in the layer list to select multiple layers at once. To do this hold control and click the layers you would like to select.
Layer and scene renaming is now more intuitive – Meld will now accept edits when you click outside of the field. You can still reject edits by pressing escape.
Bug fixes and Improvements 🪄
The Duplicator source no longer stalls when duplicating video capture sources that are not in the current scene.
Reworked video capture engine brings improvements to performance for Video and Display capture layers.
Application window capture will now intelligently remap the captured window even if it has been closed and reopened.
Thanks!
