Creators have been asking for more control over how their workspace is arranged, especially when it comes to the location of the chat panel. We've added a brand-new Swap Layout control that lets you reverse your studio's view from the settings.
Whether you want your chat on the left, your tools on the right, or you just want a layout that feels more natural on your specific setup, you can now customize Meld Studio to match the way you work.

📁 MP4 Recording Now Supported
You asked for it and we delivered! MP4 recording is officially available in Meld Studio. This update gives creators more control over their recording workflow, especially if you're producing content for YouTube, TikTok, Reels, or editing software like Premiere, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
With MP4 as a selectable file format, you can now tailor your recordings to the exact needs of your post-production workflow.

⚙️ Enhancements
This release has a few enhancements for your studio:
- Camera error messages will notify you when your camera is being used by another application.
- Meld Studio now supports
https://in.meldstudio.coURLs for interactions. This allows for easier sharing of widget settings.
🔩 Fixups
Last but not least, Meld has a few fixes:
- Fix for unlinked state not getting properly restored on Audio Tracks in some cases.
- When using the "Missing Resources" dialog, we no longer rename your layers to match the camera name.
- Improvements to Browser stability.
