Clip the Best Moments and Replay Them Instantly

We're thrilled to introduce the new Replay Clip feature, something that we've had on our internal roadmap for a while now. Press the clip button to save a clip of the last 90 seconds of stream, no need to be live or recording. You will get a prompt that allows you to replay the clip right on the main canvas instantly. Meld will capture the last 90 seconds of your session, saving it to your local clips folder while also sharing it on stream at the same time.

Your clip replay will follow your Main Canvas (horizontal) settings without interrupting your livestream or recordings. All of your clips will still store in your designated local folder so they're easy to locate, edit and upload after stream!

Elevate Your Recording Quality

With our latest update, Meld Studio now lets you stream and record using separate bitrates, giving you way more control over your quality.

You can keep your stream running smoothly at 6,000 to 8,000 kbps so your viewers aren’t dealing with lag, while recording locally at a much higher bitrate to get crisp, clean footage. Doing this is perfect for making high-quality VODs, clips, or social posts without sacrificing your live stream quality.

In Preferences > General > Recording > Edit > Set Your Recording Bitrate

💡
If you’re not worried about file size you can set bitrate higher for even cleaner quality. Also, using NVENC or H.265 encoding can help you maintain quality at slightly lower bitrates.

Confetti Widget

What’s a celebration without some confetti? 🎉 Our new Confetti Widget has now been added to the widget layer list! This makes it easy to add bursts of excitement to your stream whenever an event is triggered.

Want to really amp up the confetti widget even more? You can add emojis to the confetti widget for more customization! 🚀⭐✨
