# Meld Studio > Meld Studio is free live streaming, recording and content creation software for Windows and macOS. It streams to Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Kick, X and any custom RTMP destination, with multistreaming, vertical and landscape output, unified chat, overlays and clipping built in rather than bolted on. There is no watermark and no limit on how long or how often you stream. Meld Studio is a native desktop application, not a browser tool or a cloud service. It is commonly compared to OBS Studio and Streamlabs. The app itself is free; Meld Spark, the assistant that builds custom overlays and interactive widgets, has paid tiers. ## Key facts - Platforms: Windows and macOS. Multi Canvas sends a landscape stream and a vertical Shorts stream from one broadcast. Logging in brings TikTok chat, follows and gifts into the app and works from your first follower.
